The women of the community play a fundamental role in the management of the resources, as they are usually the ones in charge of using them in the households.

- They are also often responsible for the upbringing of the community's youth, so they have a key influence on resource conservation.

- The UN Women project aims to empower the women of Anjar to be more aware of resource consumption and the values they pass on during upbringing.

- In this way, young people will also be more knowledgeable about their own consumption.
